Clinical Exercise

What is Clinical Exercise?

Physiotherapists are specialists in prescribing therapeutic exercises addressing any underlying biomechanical reasons contributing to pain. Specific exercises may also be required to prevent issues arising or as maintenance of existing problems.

Muscles may become weak, strained or overused. They may also become too short or too long. This can happen as a result of poor posture or due to incorrect movement patterns. Precise, specific exercises addressing the whole body and developed by a physiotherapist, can correct movement abnormalities and treat pain.
